Turkey Consumer Confidence Increases In February

Turkey’s consumer confidence grew in February, survey results from the Turkish Statistical Institute showed on Thursday.

The consumer confidence index rose to 84.5 in February from 83.3 in January.

The survey was carried out in cooperation with the Turkish Statistical Institute and the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey.

The assessment of the present financial situation of household rose to 66.3 in February from 63.7 in January.

The financial situation expectation of households increased to 84.5 in February from 83.8 in the previous month.

The general economic situation expectation index surged to 91.7 in February from 88.2 in the prior month.

Assessment on spending money on durable goods index over next 12 months declined to 95.5 from 97.3 in January.
